How do the photo sessions work?
Studio sessions are conducted at Photo Lyrical’s residential gallery that is a home-away-from-home Portrait Studio located just off Rea Road 4.2 miles south of Stonecrest Mall (exit 59 off the I-485). Locations sessions are provided at the venue of your choice e.g. home, park or delivering hospital etc. The studio is designed with your comfort in mind and we have a fitted baby changing table with diapers and wet wipes for new Moms, as well as refreshments and snacks for the family to keep you energized. During the session we will take several different poses that offer a selection for you to choose your favorites to order.
What happens after the session?
One week after the photo session you are invited back for your Ordering Appointment where Mimika will display the non-edited raw images on a projector for us to narrow down your favorites. Please allow an additional 1-2 hours for this ordering appointment. Only the images that you order will be fully re-touched and artistically printed for a fine art effect, and all images not ordered are discarded due to the limits of storage space. Therefore it is advisable that everyone who is necessary to help make your buying decisions accompanies you to your appointment. Payment for your order is required on the day of your ordering appointment and we accept visa, mastercard, and check payments. Depending on the value of your order, there is an interest free installment plan option available when you pay by credit or debit card (further details will be explained to you at the appointment).
Products & Services…
Session fees are for artistic time and talent and do not count toward your product investments, our 2 hour studio sessions are $100 irrespective of the number of persons being photographed. All of our products are offered in bundles or on an A La Carte basis and they include gallery wrap canvases, customized photographic mounted and framed wall portraits, canvas and framed wall portraits, DVD slideshows, baby builder albums, and gift portraits etc. I’m sure we will have something you would love to add to your family memories and your approximate investment would be between $250-$3,000. Please note, we do provide an interest free installment plan over 6-12 months to make your portrait investment more affordable.
For example: A popular product we offer that covers baby’s first year of growth is the Baby Milestone bundle. This package includes 5 studio sessions (newborn, 3, 6, 9 and 12 months) as well as 10% off our A La Carte Range, plus one fine art matted and sprayed 8×10 gift portrait from each session.
Cancellation or postponement?
If for any reason you are not able to keep our appointment, please allow at least 24 hours notice by calling 1-888-344-0894. We will do our best to accommodate a rescheduled date, however we cannot guarantee your preferred appointment date as our studio diary fills up 3 weeks in advance. Please let us know sooner rather than later.
